I'm a big fan of the Endel app, which creates personalized soundscapes to help you focus, relax, and sleep, all backed by neuroscience. I've always been looking for new ways to enhance my focus during work, relaxation, meditation, and sleep. Endel has been a revelation for me. I just need to plug in my earphones at my phone, and I'm instantly transported to the environment I need, whether it's nature sounds, relaxing tunes, lofi study music, or energizing techno (For more information, check out the Endel website).
The problem is that when I'm sleeping or working, I prefer to leave my phone in another room to avoid distractions. This wasn't easy because I wanted to keep my Endel soundscapes and be able to switch environments during my work sessions, which are on my phone.
That's why I decided to create the Endel Soundscaper, a fictional product by Endel that lets you use the app without your phone. It includes everything you need from the app: all the soundscapes, settings, timers, nature environments, and more. Now, with this product, I can fully enjoy my work sessions, sleep, and relaxation without worrying about being disturbed by my phone.
The ENDEL SOUNDSCAPER functions similarly to the app. For those unfamiliar with the app, here's a brief explanation of how it works:
You can switch between three different sound environments. The first one in the video is "Relax." This environment is designed for relaxation and rest, including programs for meditation, peaceful wake-up, and more. The next soundscape in the video is "Focus." This one features a more energetic mix with rhythms that help you concentrate and stay focused. It can be set with a work timer or Pomodoro time management to help focus deeply. Finally, the "Sleep" environment is intended for a peaceful night's sleep, with deep, slow sounds that sync with your breathing to help you quickly fall into a deep sleep.
All environments can be enhanced with additional nature sounds. In the video, this is demonstrated on the "Atmosphere" screen. You simply choose the position of the cursor, and it will blend nature sounds with your current soundscape.

For all navigation within the ENDEL SOUNDSCAPER, I chose to use physical buttons, as the purpose of this product is to provide an escape from the digital world. Additionally, all the screens have a matte finish, giving them the appearance of animated paper.
